We're here celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary- we were married in Roundstone 10 years ago this week.
In 15 years of visiting this area of Connemara , The Garrai Mor is by far the most welcoming and family friendly place we've stayed. Thanks so much for the soda bread, the flowers, and the home from home.

Hi Kay
Thank you so much for letting us stay in your home we had a fantastic time even with the rainy weather but what can you expect in Ireland in September
The house is lovely probably one of the best we have stayed in for a long time
Please thank your Mum for the hospitality and making sure we were ok that was really kind of her
We are hoping to be back next year probably in June with the longer nights and hopefully better weather, once we have the dates I will be in touch
Thanks again
Regards

Back home now from the Garrai Mor and we are all missing it terribly, especially seeing the sea at breakfast. We really had a wonderful time. We all thoroughly enjoyed Ballyconneely especially the beaches. We had great fun out at Doonloughan on the boogie boards, loved walking the beaches along Mannin Bay where Aoife caught her first fish and Eimear loved the coral strand for the shells. Your map on the wall was very helpful as otherwise we wouldn't have found all the lovely places. Aoife learned to ride her two-wheeler bike around the house and up and down Ballafada road and on the last day of our holiday was able to cycle to Guinness beach. The house itself was great - Seany was able to have alot of freedom and got great value from your garden for football and hurling. Your mum gave us a warm welcome and send off - pass on our thanks to her.
Since the kids rated it as their best holiday yet we hope to get back to the Garrai Mor again sometime. In the meantime, thanks a million and all the best. Ciara

Thanks for a fabulous week. My parents and John and I had a wonderful break. The house was superb and the scenery was stunning. Walking along the Coral Strand with the dog was fantastic.
Bernie is a wonderful host and looked after us really well. Her wheaten bread is out of this world !!
Thanks again.

We had a great time! The house was brilliant. The living room /
kitchen was perfect for a todler learning to walk with his
toddle-truck. There was a good long run before you had to go and turn
him around. Your Mum was brilliant and came over with eggs from her
friend and lovely fresh mackeral, which were both delicious. Thank her
from us. The first day had damp drizzle and we got soaked on the way to
the Strand, but that was it, and the sun shone for the rest of the
fortnight - glorious - so we had a good go at visiting all the beaches
nearby.

Everything is so good about the house, The welcome from your mother, the comfort, layout and the location – the 12 Bens in one direction Mannin Bay in another, Errislannan in another, the bog in another. We had a marvelous few days, Compulsory swims before breakfast, walking the bog snoozing on the beach listening to the birds (did you know you had a resident cuckoo) the sea and wind. Uplifting

Back again after 3 years, we mustn't leave it so long again, I love this place. The light and the views, always inspire me to paint. We have brought Andrews parents this time, and they love it too. We enjoyed the stars Kay, especially through the binoculars.
